Oh, the Wisdom of Our Detroit Children

A sweet thing happened this afternoon.

Last week the eight new mums we planted in the front garden were stolen. Disappointed, I decided there would be no more new mums to be snatched away. However, our several rose bushes have never touched (too difficult to steal?).

Coping in a Gentle and Grateful Way

Today I was driving Scott, one of our guests who has a mental illness, to the warehouse for food and clothing. We passed a church sign that said something like: “All Glory and Honor to God.”
