Services / Description

Substance Abuse Treatment.  Rehabilitation program for indigent men suffering from drug and/or alcohol abuse.

Founded in 1976, Jefferson House makes an important contribution in caring for men whose lives have been torn apart by substance abuse.  Jefferson House has assisted more than 700 indigent men in recovery by providing an intensive residential program that treats the physical, social and psychological effects of alcoholism and drug addiction.

The program is located in a large home in a neighborhood community which fosters a strong feeling of family with the residents. It is the first residential treatment facility in Michigan to receive accreditation by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The ongoing support and prayers of our benefactors are helping us to reach the goal of providing a quality healing and recovery experience for those seeking help with addiction illnesses.
