Life is Good

By Br. Bob Malloy, OFM Capuchin

From a regular guest at the soup kitchen:

I came in on a Monday morning, and just after the prayer, a man came up to me.  He had recently been released from a psychiatric hospital. He said to me:

“You know, Brother, when all is said and done, and with everything going on around us, life is still good.”

Later, he approached me again and said, “I know that God loves me.  I’m here because of Him.”

Simple statements/profound truths.  I found it a fine way to enter Holy Week.  What a blessing to be in this man’s presence.  May this week make you more aware of the holiness that surrounds you day by day.  Happy Easter,
