One of the values of our Mission and Values Statement is that of partnering. We partner with other agencies to better serve our guests. We partner with other CSK programs and departments to better serve our guests, and we partner with those that we work closely with every day to better serve our guests. Service to others can be overwhelming and tiring, especially when the needs of others seem to come at us like the waves of the ocean. It becomes even worse when we consider that we ourselves have our own problems and issues to tackle and solve. That is why 1 Peter 5:7 is such a comforting passage of Scripture. “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (NKJV)
When we partner with God, we bring all the resources of heaven into our situation or circumstances to respond to them. Partnering with God brings positive results to anything that we may face.
Instead of partnering with God, some of us are angry with God to the point where we are about to “let Him have it.” We are on the verge of going off on God and throwing salvation in the garbage. The heat has turned up in our lives, and God is silent. Bills are stacked; our job doesn’t pay enough, and we feel overwhelmed.
May I suggest to you that you are now at the point of “letting God have it” because you decided not to let Him have it from the beginning. We get frustrated about a situation that is still in our hands. It’s time to let God have it! "Cast ALL your cares on the LORD; He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Give your situation to the LORD, and rest! You CANNOT run this race loaded down. Let God have it! And partner with Him.
