Tickets and sponsorships are available now for the 50th Annual SOCK (Support Our Capuchin Kitchen) Dinner at Huntington Place on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
The Capuchin Soup Kitchen is hosting a Halloween Candy Drive for the kids of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and we're asking for your help with candy donations! Between now and October 31, you can drop off candy at our Conner St. site or donate from our wishlist at ofmcap.cc/halloween.
The most recent edition of our quarterly "Breaking Bread" newsletter is out now with news on the Rosa Parks Children's & Youth Program Peace Camp, an update on the new location for our On the Rise Café, friar milestones and more.
On the Rise Café, the retail outlet selling baked goods produced by returning citizens in our R.O.P.E. (Reaching Our Potential Everyday) residential program, has relocated from its original location on Gratiot Avenue and is now open inside the Solanus Casey Center.
Our Capuchin brothers in Ukraine have decided to stay put to provide humanitarian and spiritual support to the people trapped in the warzone. Meanwhile our brothers across the border in Poland are assisting refugees fleeing Ukraine, now numbering in the millions. You can help by making a donation. 100% of donations will go directly to the friars in Ukraine and Poland so that they may continue their life-saving work.
True to our Franciscan heritage, when a need has been uncovered, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen has responded to that need.
