Sharing Job Leads

Recently a veterinary doctor asked if we had anyone at the soup kitchen who needed a job. As a result, two of the men who have been regulars and, who have been looking for work for a long time, have now been suited up in uniform and work as greeters/helpers and parking lot attendants at the clinic. One of the men approached me and said: “This is so cool’ I actually have employment. They love me and I love them.” Then he said, “I can’t thank you enough for the lead for this job.” He has been living in a house that he inherited but has not been able to maintain with no income. It’s December now, Christmas is coming, and things are looking up for him.
