Planting Seeds of Peace
Just before Easter, the Rosa Parks Youth Program held a special Holy Week Prayer Service called “Planting Seeds of Peace in the Gardens of Detroit.” Different speakers stressed the idea that we as a Detroit Community need to take responsibility for each other.
The Season of Planting
The season of planting has started. We had our first garden planning meeting last week. It will soon be time for cool crop planting and seeds of sunflowers soon after that.

Fred Says Thank You
“Fred” came in to say thank you for all the services offered by the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. He said that he recently missed church on Sunday because of family obligations. Then he missed the 12 step meeting and the prayer meeting at the soup kitchen.
