Inspired by St. Francis of Assisi, we tend to people’s basic needs, especially the need for food. We also strive to stimulate minds, nourish spirits, and address root causes of social injustice.
(Saturday, February 4, Noon) After 60 years, there are still Capuchins who lived and provided ministry with Fr. Solanus. They’ll be with us to share joyful as well as sacred memories. Starting with a simple lunch followed by a presentation at the Solanus Casey Center. Presented by the Father Solanus Guild and Solanus Casey Center.
The Capuchin Soup Kitchen receives no government subsidies; the ability to carry out our mission depends nearly totally on the generosity of benefactors and our dedicated volunteers.
