Inspired by St. Francis of Assisi, we tend to people’s basic needs, especially the need for food. We also strive to stimulate minds, nourish spirits, and address root causes of social injustice.
The Children’s Program at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen Meldrum site (4390 Conner St, Detroit, MI) would appreciate donations of wrapped candy, granola bars, small chip and cracker packages and other treats for their annual Halloween event. Please donate items by Oct. 26. Thank you so much!
